Glyphorium is a generative art project where the familiar confines of typography break free from convention and plunge into the world of the abstract.
The original Glyphorium collection was launched on Prohibition, a generative art platform on the Arbitrum blockchain (Ethereum L2) and running on the Artblocks engine with all code onchain. Sadly, Prohibition.art shut down in late 2024.
The collection was published as a true open edition, intended to be available for minting iterations forever. With the premature shutdown I decided to continue the project by making use of the existing code to create an A-Z series on rodeo.club
In the original project I had included a couple of secret features that allowed for influencing the output by including parameters in the URL for the characters to be used and/or the colour palette selection. Even with those "controls" the compositions were still completel random with so many possible outcomes.
To create the alphabet collection I passed in the specific letters for each as well as a colour palette, and just kept refreshing until I found the outputs I loved the most and wanted to mint.
You can have a play yourself using the direct link, and then in the url modifying the str parameter (replace my GM) and/or the palette parameter (with any number from 1 - 73). Note you should limit the str parameter to just a few characters - maybe your initials or fave number!
